Extra Curricular Activities

High Point students can be involved in a variety of programs outside of the school day. Information on these programs is given below.

Beginning Band                            

Fifth grade students who have joined the band have rehearsal after school on Monday and Wednesday from 2:30–3:15 at Orland Junior High. Specific times for band sectionals will be provided by the band director, Mr. Heitmanek.

Beginning and Intermediate Orchestra                                 

Beginning orchestra is open to fourth and fifth grade students. Fifth grade orchestra students rehearse after school on Monday and Thursday from 2:30–3:15. Fourth grade orchestra students rehearse twice a week after school from 2:30–3:15 at High Point. Specific days and times will be provided by the orchestra director, Mr. Kivi.

Choir                                     

High Point choir is open to fourth and fifth grade students. Rehearsals are scheduled after school from 2:30–3:15. Rehearsals will be on Monday and Wednesday for 4th grade and Tuesday and Thursdays for 5th grade with Mrs. Niemczyk.
