Principal's Welcome

Greetings High Point Families,

My name is Constantine “Dean” Kariotakis and I am excited to take on the role of Interim Principal at High Point Elementary School for the majority of the 2024-2025 school year. Having become familiar with the Orland Park community last year as the Interim Assistant Principal at OJH will help me transition into this role. I will be starting my 35th year in education, most recently as a principal at Timber Ridge Middle School in Plainfield, IL.

We are excited to share that there have been significant changes at High Point this year, including new additions and renovations completed over the summer. Despite these changes, the heart and soul of High Point, represented by our dedicated teachers and support staff, remains unchanged. To them, High Point is more than just a workplace – it's a second home. Our theme for this year is “Stronger Together,” and I wholeheartedly believe that as a school community, we will come together and work as a team to uphold the high academic standards for your children.
