About the Media Center

Orland School District 135 shares the American Association of School Librarians (AASL) Mission Statement in that we are building a community of critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers and ethical, effective users of ideas and information.

 

The Library Media Program at High Point School has four components:

1. Literature Appreciation

2. Digital Literacy

3. STREAM Learning (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Math)

4. Information Literacy  (Gathering, Assessing, Organizing, and Sharing information)
